When a new mum came to Costa Health, she wasn’t looking for a miracle. She just wanted to feel strong again. Her body felt unfamiliar — tired, sore and nowhere near where it used to be.

That’s where Andrea came in — Costa Health’s dedicated physical trainer.

With a thoughtful and personal approach, Andrea created a one-to-one strength and conditioning plan that met this new mum exactly where she was. The goal? To gently rebuild core strength, stabilise posture and restore everyday movement confidence after pregnancy.

“It wasn’t about getting back to the gym quickly,” she explained. “It was about feeling like myself again, one step at a time.”

They focused on functional strength — the kind that makes lifting a baby, climbing stairs and carrying a nappy bag feel a little less daunting. Each session gave her a boost not just physically, but mentally too.

Progress came steadily. Her energy returned. Her back pain eased. Her confidence grew.

She now continues her weekly sessions with Andrea, not chasing a perfect body — but building a stronger, more supported one.
