Costa Health Riviera

Costa Health Riviera is the original Costa Health clinic, founded in 2020 by Sarah Monaghan. Set within the Balcon del Golf complex in Riviera del Sol, it has grown from a single-practitioner chiropractic practice into a full multidisciplinary clinic with a team of chiropractors, physiotherapists, an osteopath and sports therapists working under one roof.

The clinic offers the widest range of services in the Costa Health network. Alongside chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteopathy and sports massage, Costa Health Riviera is the only location offering shockwave therapy, laser hair removal and skin clinic services. This means patients who need specialist treatments beyond standard manual therapy can access them here without a referral elsewhere.

The ground-floor clinic space is light, modern and fully accessible. Treatment rooms are equipped for manual therapy, dry needling, shockwave therapy and rehabilitation exercises. The team works collaboratively, so if your condition would benefit from a different discipline, a colleague is just down the corridor.

The Riviera clinic has the largest clinical team in the Costa Health network. Each practitioner brings a different specialism, meaning patients are matched to the right clinician for their condition rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Costa Health Riviera is the hub clinic. It carries the full range of services and the largest team, which means shorter waiting times and more appointment flexibility. If one practitioner is fully booked, there is usually a colleague with the right skills who can see you sooner.

The clinic is also the only Costa Health location offering shockwave therapy, a treatment used for persistent tendon conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy and tennis elbow. Laser hair removal and skin clinic services are also exclusive to Riviera. These are not available at the Marbella location.

For patients who need more than one type of treatment, the multidisciplinary setup is a real advantage. A chiropractic patient recovering from a disc injury might also work with one of the physiotherapists on a rehabilitation programme. Someone seeing a sports therapist for a padel injury could be referred to a chiropractor for spinal assessment.
