Flora Muijzer is a Dutch physiotherapist with 14 years of experience helping people improve their movement and overall health. She works holistically, combining Western, science-based care with Manual Therapy, McKenzie Therapy and exercise. Her primary focus is orthopaedic and spinal issues, including back and neck pain, headaches, and other musculoskeletal problems. She aims to address the root cause of the pain for long-term results. Flora also supports recreational and professional athletes, especially in endurance and strength sports.
Movement sits at the heart of her work. With personalised treatment plans, she helps people move better, recover from pain, and stay active.
Flora has worked with clients ranging from world-class athletes to everyday people. Her experience includes the Chinese Olympic Windsurf Team, Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, the Women’s Football League China, the Netherlands Dance Theatre and the Dutch National Ballet.
She spent nearly three years in Shanghai at a leading physiotherapy and sports performance clinic, where she worked with international clients and specialists. This shaped her high-standard, global approach to care.
Although she enjoys supporting athletes, her core expertise lies in spinal health and wellness. Many of her clients seek to alleviate chronic pain, enhance their posture, and live more comfortably. She has helped countless amateur athletes return to sport and build strength.
Outside the clinic, Flora enjoys cycling in the mountains and recently rode to Everest Basecamp at 5,200 metres in 10 days. She is a triathlete who competed in the 2024 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Taupo, New Zealand. She also surfs when she can, especially in Indonesia and Australia.
She has travelled to more than 40 countries. At home, she enjoys good food, a great steak, and a glass of wine with friends.
